MEMS transducers are increasingly recognised as a viable alternative for environmental monitoring. MEMS equipment offers high performance and reduced cost, allowing for more cost-effective deployment compared to traditional noise and vibration monitors. Our MEMS noise monitors comply with the precision requirements of IEC61672-2002 Type 1. Prior to installation, each noise monitor is calibrated using a NATA certified reference source.

Where monitors require calibration (typically once every 2 years), or if there are ever any faults, Octave Acoustics can send a replacement at no cost.
