Leichhardt Bus Depot, Bus Electrification Infrastructure
This project related to the rollout of zero emissions buses at the Leichhardt Bus Depot. The buses will be charged from a solar array installed on the roof of the Leichhardt depot, storing energy in onboard batteries capable of holding up to ten times as much energy as an electric car.
Electricity from the solar system installed on the depot’s roof will be stored in a 2.5 MW on-site battery during the day, charging buses overnight through five 120 kW points and thirty one 80kW chargers.
Octave Acoustics was engaged by Tobco to provide both an operational noise impact assessment and a Construction Noise and Vibration Impact Statement (CNVIS). The CNVIS was prepared in accordance with Transport for NSW Construction Noise and Vibration Strategy (CNVS).
