
Rob Brown
With over fifteen years of experience Rob brings a depth of knowledge and technical expertise. His experience and success in building and working within team environments demonstrates his strength in supervision and direction of acoustic engineering groups working within complex multidisciplinary environments.
On a technical level Rob’s experience includes delivery of environmental assessments, presentation of expert evidence and working with multi-disciplinary teams in the analysis of both building and infrastructure designs to provide noise and vibration mitigation solutions.

Andrew Lloyd
Andrew leads the Building Acoustics team at Octave Acoustics. He has a significant depth of experience in all facets of building acoustics including multi-residential, education, aged care, commercial and community projects.
Andrew has a practical approach to acoustic design and establishes collaborative working relationships with all parties involved in the project including the client, project manager, architect, consultant team and builder. This enables him to gain a clear understanding of the requirements during all phases of the project and deliver effective and cost-efficient design solutions for the client.

Tim Murray
Tim has over nine years’ experience in the acoustics industry, specialising in vibration and structural acoustics. This includes building isolation in the United Kingdom, swimming pool isolation in Dubai, isolation of sports facilities in Singapore and seismic product design for Indonesia and New Zealand.

Thomas Evans
Thomas is a recent addition to the team at Octave Acoustics. He brings a fresh outlook to acoustic engineering, and is never afraid to ask ‘Why?’. In a relatively short space of time he has amassed a significant amount of experience working on a variety of environmental and building acoustics projects, ranging from large city tower-type developments to small boutique cocktail bars.

Nathaniel Tan
Nathaniel has a background in building services and logistics and has experience preparing technical drawing and cost estimates, client liaison and inventory management. He is knowledgeable with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and relevant Australian Standards within the building services industry.
Nathaniel holds several high-risk licenses and qualifications including a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Honours) from RMIT University; he is also a graduate member of The Institution of Engineers Australia (IEAust).
